Stage your home for more $$$.

Staging is the process of preparing your home for sale, with the goal of getting the most money in the shortest amount of time possible.

In today's real estate market, most homeowners no longer have the luxury of their homes selling quickly. With more inventory on the market the question is, what are you doing to distinguish your home from the rest? Model home developers have known for years the value of staging, and that is most people are visual. Staging is visual.
I consider the style of the home and ensure that the staging is done in moderate taste to appeal to a wide range of potential buyers. With my inventory of furniture, accessories and most of all talent, I will create a space that most people can imagine themselves living in, which translates into a potential buyer. My goal is to get you the best price in the shortest amount of time.

Here’s the buzz about staging:

Is staging worth the time and expense? According to California-based salesperson Joy Valentine, it is. "I've seen many times properties sell for 10 or 15 percent more than they would have because they were staged," says Valentine. "I stage 75 percent of the homes I sell."

"Realtors forever have advised sellers on techniques -- picking up clutter, hiding dirty dishes in the dishwasher, brewing an aromatic tea -- to make prospective buyers feel comfortable. But effectively preparing a house to show at its best goes well beyond such obvious tips. Indeed, these days, realtors themselves are learning the principles of staging or establishing referral relationships with staging professionals to help homes sell both faster and for more money."

"It has a much more positive impact when selling a property if you can present people with some addition to their vision instead of having to rely completely on their imagination," says Mr. Holmes, who listed his three-bedroom investment property and staged it. It sold in seven days."
